Stoicism
The highest good is virtue. Respond with virtue in everything you do. The four virtues are: wisdom, courage, temperance, and justice.
Alturism
A useful life is a life worth having lived. One’s grounding principle should be one of usefulness. Maximise your contribution to society.
Hedonism
Only pleasure has value. It is always good to seek pleasure. Do so even during times that are themselves worthless.
Meaning
Finding meaning is core to life itself. You can find meaning in everything. Possible sources: purposeful work, exceptional love, and courage in the face of difficulty.
Discomfort
Life is about growth. The only way to grow is to do things that make you uncomfortable. Get outside your comfort zone. Be the best version of yourself.
